A teenager was stabbed just yards from the Mayor of London’s headquarters at City Hall.

Detectives want to speak to two men after a 19-year-old was knifed near Sadiq Khan’s office in Southwark, south London.

Officers and paramedics found the man suffering from stab wounds in the More London Riverside area shortly after midnight on April 11.

Met Police have released images taken from CCTV footage of two men they wish to speak with in connection with the knife attack.

The appeal comes as a murder investigation is underway in Turnpike Lane, north London, where a man was shot dead outside a tube station this morning.

A spokesperson said: “Police were called by London Ambulance Service at 00.18am on Sunday April 11 to a report of male with stab injuries in the More London Riverside area of SE1.

“Officers attended, along with LAS, and found a 19-year-old man suffering stab injuries.

“His condition was assessed as non-life threatening.

“Officers are very keen to hear from anyone who can name the males pictured, or anyone who witnessed this incident and has not yet spoken with police.

“No piece of information about knife crime is insignificant or too small.”

Two men were arrested on suspicion of GBH around two weeks after the stabbing.

They were subsequently released on bail pending further enquiries.
