Police hunt to find two women after man, 41, dies in Horsforth horror crash

A man has tragically died following a horrific car crash in Leeds - with police trying to track down two women believed to have been involved.

Alan Lockwood, 41, of Horbury, suffered serious injuries in the crash on the Ring Road in Horsforth, close to the McDonalds on Tuesday. He was taken to hospital but sadly died yesterday.

He was in a Chevrolet Spark, which was involved in the crash with a blue Ford Eco Sport.

The only other piece of information relating to the second car is that one woman was driving and another woman was a passenger.

In a statement, West Yorkshire Police said: "Officers also want to speak to the occupants of another vehicle which is believed to have been involved.

"The only information known about this car is that it contained two females."

Anyone who witnessed the collision, or anyone with dash cam footage of the vehicles prior to it, should call the Eastern Roads Policing Unit on 101.

You can also go to the West Yorkshire Police website, referencing log 309 of 29 September.
