A man was left with facial injuries after a racist attack in a car park in West Lothian.
The 26-year-old victim was assaulted in the parking area of Don Pollo restaurant in Osprey Brae, Livingston on April 3.
The Daily Record reports that police say racist abuse was hurled at the victim amid the assault.
The man was left with minor facial injuries.
Officers are urging witnesses and those who have CCTV footage of the area to come forward.
Police Constable Ben Ross, said: "A 26-year-old male sustained minor injuries to his face and was subjected to racial remarks as a result of this incident.
"Enquiries are still ongoing and we are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or may have CCTV covering the area.
"Anyone with information is asked to call us on 101, quoting incident number 4228 of April 3, 2021 or call the charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
