Police hunt three balaclava-clad men after raid on Co-op store in Scots town

Police are hunting for three balaclava-clad men following a raid at a Co-op store in the Borders.

Officers from Police Scotland have released images of three males they believe may have information that could assist them as they probe an incident in the early hours of Wednesday, August 28, last year at a Co-op on Edinburgh Road, Lauder.

Two of the men in the images taken from CCTV are described as wearing dark clothing with balaclavas covering most of their faces.

The other male is described as wearing a grey top and a balaclava.

Police in Galashiels are looking to speak to the three men (Police Scotland)

A Police Scotland statement read: "Anyone who recognises any of the males in the images is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 0238 of the 28 August 2019.

Police Scotland are looking for three men who may be able to help them with their inquiries (Police Scotland)

"Alternatively, Crime Stoppers can be contacted by calling 0800 555 111 where information can be given."
