A manhunt has been launched for a thief who stole two dogs from their kennels in Perthshire.

The pair of female cocker spaniels were reported missing from the kennels in Rait between July 24 and 25.

Officers have issued an image of one of the stolen pooches - a white spaniel with broken markings on its face - while the other is described as black with a roan stripe on her chest.

A Police Scotland statement read: "Appeal for information in relation to theft of 2 female cocker spaniels who went missing from their kennel at Flawcraig, Rait, Perthshire, bet 24th/25th July 2020.

"Picture attached of one and other is described as black with a roan stripe on her chest."

Anyone with information should call cops on 101 citing reference number CR/19953/20.
