Police hunt sick flasher who exposed himself to woman on busy Ayrshire street

Police have launched a hunt to track down a sick flasher who exposed himself to a woman in broad daylight.

Cops say the woman has been left distressed after the victim saw the man exposing himself outside the white flats in Dean Steet, Kilmarnock on Monday at around 3pm.

After the incident, the woman walked away and reported the incident to police.

The suspect is described as white, of slim build, around 40-years-old with black hair. He was wearing glasses with black rims, a black jacket and dark blue jeans.

Dean Street is one of Kilmarnock's busiest roads with motorists using the route to travel in and out of the town.

Sergeant David Markin from Kilmarnock Police Station said: “This was a very distressing incident for the woman and enquiries are ongoing to trace the man involved.

“I would appeal to anyone who was in the area of Dean Street on Monday afternoon and noticed the suspect, or anything at all suspicious, to please get in touch.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland through 101, quoting incident number 1979 of Monday, October 11, 2021. Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
