Police hunt man wanted in connection with stalking and assault

Update (issued by Merseyside Police on Wednesday, February 23): A man has come forward and is assisting with enquiries

Police have released an image of a wanted man they need to track down.

Officers are on the hunt for Glenn Luke Wibberley, as they believe he has information about crimes which took place earlier this month.

The 35-year-old, from Huyton, is wanted in connection with stalking, assault and criminal damage offences.

He is described as being of slim build, with short ginger hair and blue eyes.

A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: "Officers are appealing for help in locating a Knowsley man they would like to speak to in connection with a report of an assault.

"It is believed Glenn Luke Wibberley 35 years, from Huyton, can help with enquiries following reports of assault, stalking and criminal damage offences which took place earlier this month.

"He is described as 5ft 9in, slim build, short ginger hair and blue eyes.

"If you see Wibberley or hold any information, contact us via @MerPolCC on Twitter, ‘Merseyside Police Contact Centre’ on Facebook, or anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 with reference 22000080204."
