Police are hunting for a man who was sentenced to 12 years in prison for stabbing a man on Oxford Street.
Danny Vernon, 24, bumped into 34-year-old Dawid Filip in a Londis store and then pulled out a knife when the ensuing argument spilled out on to the busy London street.
Southwark crown court heard Mr Filip, a baker who moments earlier had been showing off his biceps to two women, suffered stab wounds to his back, chest and chin, and was left with a scar on his right cheek.
Vernon, who claimed he was abroad when the attack happened on September 30, 2017, was charged in November last year.
He was convicted by a jury in August of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
He fled after being bailed by the courts, skipping his trial, and was absent when Judge Nicholas Loraine-Smith sentenced him in his absence last month.
Officers believe Vernon knows he is wanted by police and "is taking steps to avoid apprehension".
Police said he has links to the Wimbledon area and Bournemouth in Dorset.
