A young woman was the victim of a terrifying murder bid in Glasgow city centre after being reportedly shot at with a firearm.
The 19-year-old is understood to have been targeted as she sat inside her motor on North Street at around 11.10pm on Wednesday.
A man, who was also inside the vehicle, reportedly attacked the teen before getting out and fleeing the scene.
Cops are now hunting the alleged gunman after his young victim turned up at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Police enquiries are ongoing into the report that a 19-year-old woman was injured within a vehicle on North Street, Glasgow, at around 11.10pm on Wednesday, 2 December.
"Officers are working to establish the exact circumstances and trace the man responsible who got out the vehicle after the incident and fled the scene.
"The incident is being treated as attempted murder.
"Anyone with information that may assist our investigation should contact Drumchapel Police Station through 101, quoting reference 3667 of 2 December."
