Police are hunting for the driver and passenger of a Vauxhall Astra after a gun was shot into the air in a "shocking and frightening" incident in the "middle of the day".
On Sunday morning (August 1), a dark-coloured car pulled up outside a house on Dorchester Avenue, Bolton.
The driver got out of the car and then threw a brick at another parked car before the passenger fired a gun.

Greater Manchester Police were called at around 12.20pm to the address and say no injuries have been reported and no arrests have been made.
Detective Chief Inspector Paul Rollinson, of GMP's Bolton District, said: "We're thankful that no one sustained any injuries during the incident but this is understandably a shocking and frightening thing to have occurred during the middle of the day.
"I want to reassure the community that we are working at pace and following all available lines of enquiry to ensure we identify and locate the people in the Vauxhall Astra and ensure they face the appropriate justice. We would appeal to anyone who may have seen a dark Vauxhall Astra in the area at the time to get in touch with police as a matter of urgency.
"Our top priority is ensuring the community is kept safe and we have increased our visibility in the area but I would encourage anyone with worries or concerns to speak with officers."
