Police hunt for two men armed with a firearm and a knife after car theft

Police have launched an appeal after two armed men stole a vehicle in Huthwaite.

Officers were called to Woodland Avenue at around 11.20pm on Tuesday, November 19 following reports of a theft of a car.

Two men were who reported to be armed with a firearm and a knife stole the vehicle.

The men have been described as wearing dark clothing with their faces covered.

No-one was injured in the incident.

A spokesman for the force said: "Were you in the area at the time? Did you witness the incident? Have you got any dashcam footage?

"If you can help or have any information please ring Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 959 of 19 November 2019."
