Police hunt for stolen French bulldog puppy 'too young to be without her mum'

Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a four-week-old French bulldog puppy was stolen from the kitchen of a home in Nottingham.

The lilac and tan coloured pup was taken during a burglary which happened at a property in Ipswich Circus in Bakersfield between 3pm and 5pm on Bank Holiday Monday (August 31).

Detective Constable Colin Kirkup, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: "We're appealing to anyone who has any information about the whereabouts of this puppy to please call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 617 of 31 August 2020.

"Her owner is very upset and is offering a £500 reward for any information that leads to her safe return.

"The puppy is too young to be without her mum so we're urging anyone who has any information to contact us as soon as possible."
