Police hunt for robbers after two men attacked for their jewellery in city centre

Robbers attacked two men in the early hours of the morning and made off with their jewellery.

The incident happened in Upper Parliament Street at the junction with Clumber Street at around 3am on Sunday, July 14. 

Officers are appealing for information and witnesses following the robbery.

It's believed three men had approached two men, both 20, and demanded jewellery.

A man was punched in the face and rings and a necklace were stolen.

The suspects have been described as black males, early 20s, 5ft 6ins to 5ft 8ins tall, wearing black t-shirts and jeans.
