Police hunt for missing Scots teenagers who may have travelled to Greenock together

Relatives and police are becoming “increasingly concerned” for a pair of Scots teenagers who may have travelled to Greenock together after going missing in Renfrewshire two days ago.

Ellis Clegg, aged 15, and Kalia Allan, aged 17, were last seen in each other’s company close to a Tesco supermarket in Bridge Street, Linwood, at around 5.50pm on Friday.

Ellis is described as 5ft 11ins tall, of slim build with curly brown hair and brown eyes - and he was last seen wearing a green and grey Nike Tracksuit.

He is known to frequent Paisley, Glasgow, Inverness and areas in Liverpool.

Kaila is 5ft 3ins in height, of slim build with fair hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a black body warmer, tan/beige top, blue jeans, white trainers and a white Handbag.

Kalia is known to frequent Paisley and Greenock.

PC Lewis Dolan, of Paisley Police Station, said “Police and family members are becoming increasingly concerned for Ellis and Kaila’s wellbeing”

“Ellis and Kaila absconded together and may still be in each other’s company although this is not confirmed, it is believed they may both have travelled to the Greenock area”

“Anyone who has seen Ellis or Kaila or knows of their potential whereabouts is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 2732 or 3919 of 1 October”
