Police hunt for missing Scot who vanished from Dumfries home four days ago

Police are appealing for help to find a man reported missing from his home in Dumfries four days ago.

Thomas Littlejohn was last seen at his property in the Thornhill area at around 1am on Thursday, March 25.

The 55-year-old has failed to make contact with worried friends or family and has been formally reported as missing to Police Scotland.

He is described as being 6ft tall, of a slim build with fair hair but the clothing he was wearing at the time of his disappearance is unknown.

Inspector Graeme Stitt of Loreburn Street police station said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Thomas’ welfare and are keen to locate him as soon as possible.

“I would urge anyone who may have seen Thomas to contact us immediately. Similarly, if Thomas is reading this, let us know you are safe and well.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 1529 of 26, March.
