Police have launched a search for a missing woman from Bargeddie, to the east of Glasgow.
Carrie Ann Brown was last seen by family at her home on Saturday morning, and is understood to have travelled towards Glasgow.
Officers are now seeking the public's help in tracing her.
A statement released by Monklands Police this afternoon reads: "Carrie Anne Brown. Last seen at home by family, 8.45am Saturday 7 December 2019 and was travelling to Glasgow.
Carrie is 5'8" tall, slim and was wearing a dark Berghaus jacket and jogging trousers.
"Please provide info via 101 quoting incident 2965 of 8/12."
