Police hunt for missing 11-year-old twin girls

Police are desperately searching for two 11-year-old twin schoolgirls who have gone missing from their village home. Gracie and Millie Bennett were reported missing at around 8.30pm on Tuesday.

They were last seen at their home in Mountsorrel, south of Loughborough, Leics. The twins are white, 4ft 8ins tall and of a slim build, with straight, dark brown hair below their shoulders.

Gracie was wearing a navy blue hoody with the initials ‘MB’ on the chest, blue jeans and white Puma trainers when she went missing. Millie was wearing wearing a black Nike Tec jumper, black jeans and white high-topped Nike trainers when she went missing.

One of the girls is also carrying a cream-coloured backpack, while the other may have a navy backpack with white spots. Leicestershire Police urged anyone who has seen the sisters, or knows of their whereabouts, to call 101, quoting incident 619 of 10 May.

A spokesperson said: "Both their family and police are concerned for their welfare."
