Hunt launched for man who exposed himself to woman on Clydebank canal path

An appeal has been launched after a woman was the victim of an indecent exposure near a canal path in Clydebank.

The incident happened around 3.30pm yesterday when a 35-year-old woman was walking along the canal path and saw the man on the opposite side of the canal, near an industrial estate on Boquhanran Road, exposing himself.

Police Scotland are now appealing for the public's help to identify the culprit.

The suspect is described as having an Asian appearance, 5ft 11in tall and wearing a green khaki jacket with a fur hood and dark denim jeans.

Detective Sergeant Bernadette Walls, of Clydebank CID, said: "We're appealing to anyone who saw a man matching this description either before or shortly after this incident took place to contact us."

Anyone with any information related to this should contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 2165 of 21 April 2020 or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
