Police hunt for man wearing hooded top after attempted robbery at convenience store

Police have launched a witness appeal after an attempted robbery at a Nottinghamshire convenience store.

It happened at around 9.45pm in Sandy Lane, Worksop, on Friday, July 12.

Officers want to speak to a white man wearing a dark hooded top in connection with the incident.

Nothing was stolen from the shop.

Anyone with information which may help, including anyone with dashcam footage from that area at the time, is asked to contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident 1084 of July 12.
