Police hunt for man once jailed for having a weapon in a public place

Police are searching for a wanted man from Radcliffe.

Aaron McKinlay was jailed in July last year after being found guilty of possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.

The 30-year-old was released from prison in October but has since failed to comply with his licence conditions.

He is now wanted on recall to prison.

Officers believed McKinlay has links with Radcliffe, Bury and Rochdale.

It is thought the last area he resided in was Gateshead, in the North East, but he is now suspected to have returned to Radcliffe.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact police.

If you know anything about McKinlay, call GMP on 0161 856 8257 or 0161 856 8141.

Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
