Police hunt for driver and passenger who fled car crash in Clydebank

Police are searching for the occupants of a car involved in a crash in Clydebank.

Two cars collided at a roundabout at East Barns Street in Clydebank around 10.05pm on Friday night.

A 46-year-old man suffered injuries that aren't thought to be serious.

When police arrived on the scene, the driver and passenger of the other car had vanished.

Officers are now trying to track them down.

The makes and models of the cars is unknown at this time.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "We received a report of a two car collision at a roundabout on East Barns Street, Clydebank, around 10.05pm on Friday, 23 October.

"A 46-year-old man from one car was not believed to be seriously injured. The driver and passenger of the second car left the scene and enquiries are ongoing to trace them."
