Police hunt for Bolton man wanted after release from prison

Police are searching for a man who was recently released from prison.

Stephen Glaister was released in July 2020 after being jailed for arson but officers believe he has since breached a court order and they are now looking for him.

The 56-year-old is known to have links to Bolton but is also believed to have recently travelled to London.

Police say his family are concerned for his safety and have asked anyone with information on his whereabouts to come forward.

Glaister is described as white, around 5ft 8ins tall and of medium build.

He may be wearing a short sleeved chequered shirt with blue jeans and a dark blue peaked baseball cap with a white peak.

He could also be carrying a black Adidas rucksack.

Anybody with information regarding the whereabouts of Glaister is asked to contact police on 0161 856 5620.

Alternatively, contact the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
