Police are searching for an e-bike rider who dragged a woman from her car and attacked her and her passenger in a “serious” road rage incident in southwest London.

The assault took place in Sunbury-on-Thames at around 3.10pm on Thursday, May 22, on the busy Staines Road West, between Windmill Road and the roundabout leading to the M3.

An argument reportedly broke out between the motorists before the e-bike rider pulled the female driver from her vehicle and assaulted her. He then attacked her passenger. Police said the individuals involved were not known to each other.

The suspect is described as white, aged between 17 and 20, wearing a dark puffed jacket and riding a dark-coloured e-bike.

Surrey Police are urging any witnesses, or anyone with dashcam footage or relevant information, to come forward and quote reference number PR/45250061075.

The forced can be contacted by calling 101, through webchat on their website or by using the online reporting tool.
