Police hunt begins for woman, 24, who left home for a walk and hasn't returned

Concern is mounting for the safety of a 24-year-old woman reported missing from her home in Long Eaton.

Harriet Stratford-Tuke, 24, left her home in Station Road at around 9pm on Saturday, July 27, when she said she was going for a walk.

She has not returned and has not been in contact since, detectives said.

A Derbyshire police spokesman said: "We are becoming very concerned for Harriet’s welfare and have a number of officers trying to find her.

"We would also like help from the public in finding her and want anyone who has seen her last night or this morning to get in touch urgently.

"Harriet is white, of average build and height, with shoulder length brown hair.

"When she left home she was wearing clothing including a black coat, Dr Marten boots, and was carrying a sparkly bag."

Anyone with information that may help the investigation is asked to contact Derbyshire Constabulary on 101, quoting incident 1456 of July 27.
