Police are appealing for information after an assault in Stonehouse left a pensioner with serious injuries.
The incident happened around 4.15pm on Wednesday, April 8, 2020, when an 86-year-old man was assaulted inside his car by another man on Udston Road.
He was later treated in Hairmyres hospital with serious but not life threatening injuries.
Detective Inspector John Lewis, of Cambuslang CID said: “It has been three weeks since this incident took place and we are encouraging anyone with any information to come forward.
“An elderly man has suffered serious injuries and we want to identify those responsible for this cowardly attack.
“I would ask that anyone with any information or possible dashcam footage of the area between 4pm to 4.30pm to get in touch with officers.”
