Police have launched a search after a man was reported to have performed an indecent act on a London train.
On Wednesday, a woman was travelling with her young daughter on a train between London Victoria and Horsham.
A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: “They went to use the toilet when she saw a man who was sat down and looked as if he were asleep.”
They added the man “had his hand down his trousers” and appeared to be performing an indecent act.
The BTP has now released an image of a man they would like to speak to following the incident.
Police believe the man pictured may be able to assist with their enquiries.
Anyone who recognises him has been asked to text BTP on 61016, or call 0800 40 50 40, using the reference 758 of 1 April.
Information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
