Police were forced to temporarily stall traffic following reports of kids 'flossing' on the motorway in Salford.
The youngsters were seen messing around on the central reservation of the M602 between junctions two and three on Thursday night.
A rolling road block was put in place on the eastbound carriageway.

Officers from the North West Motorway Police responded, but the group ran off.
NWMP tweeted branding the behaviour ridiculous, saying it put both officers and other motorists in danger.
It said: "Here we go again!
"Kids on the hard shoulder 'flossing' in the central reservation.
"This is ridiculous - you are putting our officers as well as other road users in danger.
"We have attended the scene - put a rolling road block in place. The youths have ran off M602 2to3 EB."
