Police growing worried after pensioner disappears from nursing home in Blaina

Police are growing concerned for a pensioner who went missing from a nursing home.

Gwent Police said they are growing concerned for the welfare of missing John Tucker.

The 67-year-old was reported missing from Cwmcelyn Nursing Home, Blaina, at 7.30am on Monday.

He is described as having short grey hair and is clean shaven. He was last seen wearing a dark coloured jacket, a light coloured shirt, blue jeans and black formal shoes.

Police said he is known to attend Cardiff Central train station where he may have travelled to the London area.

Anyone with any information on his whereabouts is asked to call Gwent Police on 101 or via their Facebook or Twitter quoting log reference 2000067445 or 81 24/02/20.
