Police ‘growing increasingly concerned’ for welfare of boy, 12, reported missing from Wigan

Police have issued an urgent appeal for information after a 12-year-old boy was reported missing in the Wigan area.

Officers say they are ‘growing increasingly concerned’ for the welfare of Harley Welch, 12, from Wigan who is missing from home.

Harley is described as being 4’7” with brown hair and a slim build.

At the time of his disappearance, he was seen wearing a red adidas t-shirt, which had a white stripe on the sleeves, and black tracksuit bottoms.

Posting on the GMP Wigan West Facebook page, officers wrote: “Police are growing increasingly concerned for missing from home, Harley Welch, 12 from Wigan.

“4'7" brown hair, slim build, black trainers, red Adidas t-shirt & white stripe on sleeves, black tracksuit bottoms.”
