Police growing 'increasingly concerned' for missing Scots man last seen one week ago

Police are growing "increasingly concerned" for a missing Scots man who was last seen one week ago.

Scott Granger was reported missing from his home in Glasgow and extensive enquiries to trace him remain ongoing.

The 51-year-old was last seen at around 11:17pm on Tuesday, February 22, walking west on Gartloch Road in the Garthamlock area of Glasgow.

He is described as being six foot tall with greying hair. He was wearing a dark hooded parka-style jacket, blue jeans, beige Timberland boots and a grey flat cap when last seen.

Police are urging anyone with information to get in touch as officers are also asking people in the area to review doorbell and CCTV footage.

Sergeant Ashley Baxter of Easterhouse Police Office said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for Scott’s welfare the longer he remains missing.

“I would ask anyone who has any information which may assist our enquiries or has seen anyone matching his description to contact us.

“I would also urge anyone who lives in the area that has a dashcam, private CCTV or doorbell camera footage to review this and pass on anything of note to police.”

Anyone with any information is being urged to contact police on 101, quoting incident 1594 of 23 February, 2022.
