A missing 82-year-old woman has been found after a search was launched.
Police released an appeal after growing increasingly concerned for Francis Wood.
On social media, the force said the pensioner had last been seen at Simonside Hall, South Tyneside at around 8pm on Tuesday.
Police asked if anyone who has any information or has seen Francis, to contact them.
At around 10.15pm Northumbria Police confirmed that Francis has been found.
The force wrote on social media: "Great news, Francis has been found!
"Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal and helped us bring her home safely."
