Police have issued a new appeal to trace a missing Glasgow man as they grow “increasingly concerned” for his safety.
Anthony McCurry was last seen in the Blackhill area of the city on Wednesday, July 28.
He has not been seen in the two weeks since despite being known to frequent the local area.
The 33-yea-old was officially reported missing on Thursday, August 5 and officers say extensive enquiries are underway to trace him.
Anthony is described as white, of medium build, around 6ft 2ins with short brown hair. When he was last seen he was wearing a blue hoodie with a zip, a black t-shirt and blue jeans.
He may have since changed his clothing.
Sergeant Colin Thapar said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Anthony’s welfare as the passage of time he has been missing increases.
“Officers have conducted a number of enquiries in areas Anthony is known to frequent, however we are seeking to piece together his movements over the past two weeks in our efforts to trace him.
“I would issue a plea to anyone who has seen Anthony, or a man matching his description, to report this sighting to police so that we can investigate.
“Those with information should report this to Police Scotland on 101 and quote incident number 1967 of 5 August 2021.”
