Police grow 'increasingly concerned' for 24-year-old man who has not been seen for days

Police in Edinburgh have become "increasingly concerned" for a 24-year-old man who has been missing for days.

Officers are currently searching for Arkadiusz Blichar after he was last seen on Sunday (October 4).

Arkadiusz has not contacted friends or family since 3am on Sunday, with his last known location reported as being in the Gorgie/Dalry area at that time.

He is described as male, white, 5' 10", medium build, wavy brown hair and he wears glasses.

According to police, he was last seen he was wearing black baseball jacket, black t-shirt and black jogging bottoms and black Nike shoes.

Today, officers have urged anyone who may have any information regarding his whereabouts to come forward as soon as possible.

Inspector Keith Forrester, Wester Hailes Police Station said, “We are growing increasingly concerned for Arkadiusz’s welfare as it is unusual for him not to keep in touch with his friends or family.

"We are therefore keen to trace him as soon as possible. If anyone has information that can assist police, please call 101, quoting incident 857 of 06/10/2020, thank you.”
