Officers are currently searching and carrying out enquiries to trace a vulnerable 80-year-old man who has been reported missing from his home in Motherwell.
Jim Cuthbertson, 80, from Leyland Road, Motherwell, was last seen at his home address around 10.30pm on Sunday, October 18.
He is described as white, around 5ft 7ins in height and is well built. He is stooped over when walking.
He is believed to be wearing a blue hoodie, blue trousers and blue shoes.
Inspector David Doherty, of Motherwell Police Station, said: “Jim has Alzheimer’s and his family are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.
“I would urge anyone who has seen Jim, or who has any information on his whereabouts to contact police via 101 quoting incident number 0544 of 19 October.”
