Police are on the hunt for an opportunistic thief who stole cash from a car in Wishaw.
The crook pounced at around 10.45am on January 29 in Cambusnethan Street when he grabbed an envelope containing money from a car.
He then sped off on a bike.
The female driver of the vehicle had just withdrawn money from a bank in Wishaw Main Street.
Elsewhere, police are Wishaw are appealing for information following a break-in at a property in the town.
The home in Caledonian Road was empty between January 19 and 29 due to water problems.
However, when the owner returned they discovered a television had been stolen.
