Police say they are following “a positive line of enquiry” after reports of a man armed with a 'machete and a gun' entered a Scots nursery.
We told how parents had been left shaken by the incident in Toryglen, Glasgow on Wednesday morning.
The armed man is understood to have entered the building shared by Orchard Grove Kindergarten and Southside Boxing Summer Camp in Glasgow.
Police confirmed they received calls on reports of the man with two weapons in the Prospecthill Circus area of Glasgow at around 10am.

A specialist firearms unit, helicopter and police dogs were brought to the scene.
Officers are now investigation the incident and are 'following a positive line of enquiry'.
We reported how parents were called to pick up their children after the emergency services arrived.
One woman, who works at Orchard Grove Kindergarten, said: “A man turned up with a machete and a gun at about 10am this morning.
“The kids were were all really scared and it was quite worrying to be honest.
“Some of the parents have come to pick up their kids but we’ve been assured everyone is safe.”
Another woman whose nephew attends the nursery told how she went into a state of “shock and panic”.
She said: “I'm not sure if the kids knew what was happening outside, the nursery handled the situation professionally and calmly.
"The police initially advised them to lock the doors and windows etc and to advise all parents not to go near the nursery until they were told otherwise."
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We received a report of a man in possession of two weapons in the Prospecthill Circus area of Glasgow around 10am on Wednesday, 7 July.
"Officers attended including specialist firearms officers, the dog unit and police helicopter in order to immediately carry out enquiries and provide reassurance to the community.
"The full circumstances are still being investigated and we are following a positive line of enquiry."
