A car identified in a police appeal about a missing Leeds man, who has not been seen in over a week, appears to have been found.
Detectives set up a large cordon around a silver Kia Creed in Bawn Gardens, Farnley, this afternoon.
The car has the same registration plate as the one driven by 56-year-old Ian Kowalczyk, who went missing from the Pudsey area on March 26.

On Thursday, West Yorkshire Police detectives investigating his disappearance released a CCTV image of Ian driving the silver Kia Creed on Troydale Lane.

Residents spotted police officers, paramedics, and the fire service in attendance.
The car has since been removed by police and the cordon taken down.
The West Yorkshire Police Duty Inspector could not confirm whether Ian, who is described as white, 5ft 11ins tall, slim build, with short brown hair that is starting to go grey, has been found.
On Thursday, Detective Inspector Kevin Daly, of Leeds District CID5, said: “Ian has been missing for nearly a week now and we remain very concerned for his welfare and are continuing to do everything we can to find him.
“The CCTV of his silver Kia Ceed being driven along Troydale Lane on the morning he went missing is the most recent sighting we have and we would like to hear from anyone who has seen Ian or his car in that area at any point since.”
