Police find thousands of fake McDonald's coffee stickers in suspected drug driver's car

A man arrested on suspicion of drug driving found himself in even more trouble when police discovered sheets of fake McDonald's stickers in his car.

West Yorkshire Police arrested the male driver on suspicion of fraud, along with the driving offence.

Steerside Enforcement Team, a police unit set up at the start of the year with the aim of making the roads around Bradford safer, tweeted the result of the vehicle stop.

The team said: "Male arrested for drug driving in South Bradford also dealt with for a fraud offence when multiple sheets of fake McDonald's coffee stickers were found in his vehicle."

The tweet added: "It may seem inconsequential, but it is illegal to cheat a company like this. Just pay for your coffee!"
