A driver was found with a huge knife after police spotted him 'lurking' outside a bus station in Tyldesley.
Officers spotted the suspicious vehicle near the guided busway last night (Sunday). They searched the car and found the driver in possession of the 'large bow knife'.
He was taken into police custody. Police posted a picture of the knife on the GMP Leigh, Atherton and Hindley Facebook page this morning.

An officer wrote: "Vehicle spotted lurking outside #GuidedBusway in Tyldesley by #GMPTransportUnit officers tonight-driver found to be in possession of a large bow knife. Suffice to say he’s in custody, awaiting charge #NoToKnives #ProActivePolicing."
