Police find 'most unusual cannabis grow' between two streets in Leeds

An “unusual” cannabis grow was found and seized in east Leeds.

West Yorkshire Police discovered 11 cannabis plants growing outdoors on grassland between two streets in south Seacroft.

The plants, which were ground in the “most unusual cannabis grow they have located in the area” were seized for destruction.

A spokesperson for the force said: “On Thursday 21st October 2021, Killingbeck and Seacroft Neighbourhood Policing Team officers seized approximately 11 cannabis plants in South Seacroft.

“The cannabis grow was discovered growing outdoors on grassland, between two street locations following reports received.

“Officers seized the plants for destruction, in what was the most unusual cannabis grow they have located in the area to date.”
