Police find large bag of cannabis during van search

A van driver was arrested after police reportedly found a large bag of cannabis and cash in a vehicle. The driver was stopped by police during a traffic operation in the town on Friday (September 23).

The driver was arrested for possession with intent to supply. The cash and drugs were seized by police.

GMP Traffic tweeted: "Driver stopped on Fridays traffic operation in @GMPOldham. A search of the van found a large bag of cannabis and cash.

"Driver arrested for possession with intent to supply and the drugs, cash and van were seized."
