Merseyside Police have located and removed a knife from the Breeze Hill area of the city following a report from a member of the local community.
Officers from nearby Walton Lane Police Station were able to locate the knife and it's pouch and have now removed it from the streets.
Earlier in the afternoon Walton Lane officers had also seized a prohibited weapon imported by a member of the public from China, which was handed over by a partner agency.
