Police found a man playing 'hide and seek' in the bathroom of a house in Kirkby during a suspected burglary.
Officers were called out to Ribblers Lane after a man was seen appearing to break into a house through the patio doors.
Police spoke to the occupiers, who said they were not aware of anyone else in the house.

During a subsequent search of the property officers found a man 'playing hide and seek in the bathroom.' The man had left his bike, thought to have been stolen, outside the house.
A man has been arrested on suspicion of burglary and handling stolen goods, police said.
The incident happened yesterday (Monday) in Kirkby.
