Police officers have found a body while searching for a man who has been missing for a week.
Nottinghamshire Police said a body was found on Christmas Eve, December 24.
The force had been searching for Jahsim Akhtar, who was reported missing from the Aspley area on Tuesday, December 17.
A force spokesman added: "Although formal identification has not yet taken place, his family have been informed of this development in officers’ enquiries. His family have asked for privacy at this time.
"The discovery is not being treated as suspicious."
