Police find body during search for missing man Keith Morris

Police searching for missing photographer Keith Morris have found a body in the water at a beach near Aberystwyth.

Emergency services were called to Borth beach just before 9.30am on Saturday, October 5.

A spokeswoman for Dyfed-Powys Police said: "Formal identification has not yet taken place, however next of kin is aware of the development."

Officers were searching for Mr Morris, who was reported missing on Friday .

A spokesman for the Welsh Ambulance Service confirmed they received a call from the Coastguard at 9.25am.

They sent two ambulances to the incident near the golf club at Borth and said no one was conveyed to hospital.

A spokeswoman for the Coastguard said rescue teams and RNLI crews from Aberystwyth , Borth and New Quay attended.

She added: “The Coastguard search and rescue helicopter from Caernarfon was also involved.”

Mr Morris was last seen and spoken to at around lunchtime on Thursday, October 3.
