Police find body during search for missing Andrew Nabb, 37

Officers have now stopped their search for missing man Andrew Nabb after discovering a man's body.

Greater Manchester Police say formal identification is yet to take place, but enquiries indicate that the body is that of Mr Nabb.

The 37-year-old was last seen on Kay Street, in Bury, at around 11.20am on Tuesday (January 19).

On Wednesday, police officers said they were becoming “increasingly concerned” about Mr Nabb and put out a media appeal in the hope of finding him.

It was thought he may have headed to the Rossendale Valley, in Lancashire.

Officers searching for Mr Nabb now say they have sadly found a body.
