Police find body during search for missing Aberdeen man Darren Sadler

A body has been found during for the search missing Aberdeen man Darren Sadler.

The 53-year-old was reported missing on Sunday, November 3 and was last spotted on Long Walk Place at around 3.30pm.

Now, Police Scotland have confirmed that a body has been found in connection with the search.

Formal identification of the body is yet to take place but his family have been informed of the discovery.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “We can confirm that a body has been found during the search for missing man Darren Sadler, who was reported missing from the Long Walk Place area of Aberdeen on Sunday, November 3.

“Formal identification has yet to take place, but Darren’s family has been made aware.

“The public are thanked for their assistance during the search.”

The death is not being treated as suspicious.
