Police drop investigation of woman's death at Tenby caravan park

Police investigating the death of a woman at a caravan park in Tenby have called off the investigation after it was confirmed she died of natural causes.

Jean Evans was found dead in a caravan in Kiln Park on Friday, November 20, 2020.

At the time of the incident, Dyfed-Powys Police said one man had been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries were ongoing. However, police have said that the man has been released with no further action to be taken.

A Dyfed-Powys Police spokesman said: “We can confirm that the investigation into the sudden death of Jean Evans, whose body was found in a caravan in Kiln Park, Tenby on Friday November 20 2020, has concluded and HM Coroner has determined that the death was as a result of natural causes.

"A man arrested following Mrs Evans’ death has been released with no further action to be taken.”

Paying tribute to Jean last year, her family issued the following statement: “We as a family would like to pay tribute to a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. We are all devastated with this big loss.

“We would like to thank everyone for their support at this horrific time. It has meant so much to the whole family.

“We are distraught by our loss. Jean Evans will be missed by us all.

“We would now like time to grieve and would ask to be given privacy to do so.”
