Police Dog Mizz tracks down drug dealing and assault suspects who had evaded the law

It's been a busy night in Liverpool City Centre for Mersey Police dog Mizz after apprehending two suspected criminals on Thursday night (August 12).

The police dog handling team was dispatched overnight and Mizz helped track and locate a suspected drug dealer who had evaded police patrols.

PD Mizz then got to work detaining a male responsible for a violent assault.

Mersey Police tweeted at 12.37am: "One prisoner wasn't enough for PD Mizz overnight. Two for bed and breakfast please! Well done Mizz and handler".
