Police dog Guinness tracks down suspect in Mold alleyway

It's time to raise a glass to Police Dog Guinness after it found a suspect hiding down an alleyway in the Flintshire town on Mold last night.

The suspect had run away from police officers following a public order incident in the town, but quickly gave himself up after PD Guinness tracked him down. In a 5.19am post on the official Cheshire and North Wales Police Dog Unit Twitter account @ChNWPoliceDogs, the incident was recounted, along with a photograph of PD Guinness bearing his 42 teeth!

The post read: "A suspect made off from officers last night following a Public Order incident in Mold, Flintshire. It didn’t work out that well as he was located by PD Guinness trying to hide down an alleyway but soon gave himself up when Guinness made his presence known! #42Teeth."

Members of the public are reminded to call 999 in an emergency or 101 for non-emergency incidents.
